Skin Care Treatments:
A Medical Microcurrent is a skin tightening treatment with skin resurfacing.
A Medical Microcurrent is a Microcurrent Skin Sculpting Treatment with
Microdermabrasion and/or a Medical Grade Peel.
Microcurrent Facial Sculpting addresses the following:
•Reduction of fine lines, creases and wrinkles
•Rejuvenating restoration of the “pink glow” of youthful tones
•Visible firming and contouring, lifting overall drooping features
•Tightening of sagging jowls, doubling chins and fatty cheeks
•Reduction and shrinking of enlarged facial pores
•Increase in hydration and revitalization, resulting in smoother and softer skin
•Reduction of dark circles and puffiness under eyes
•Reduction of blackheads and acne
•Reduction of scars and pitting
•Improved blood circulation and lymphatic drainage
All of this without downtime…no recovery, redness, no harmful side-effects, no wounds or infections, no soreness, and no pain.
As a Master Medical Aesthetician, I have been performing Microdermabrasion since 1998, and as the years have gone by, I have made many advancements in these treatments through research and performing hundreds of these relaxing services. c
Microdermabrasion offers a simple, relatively inexpensive method to address skin and photo aging, with rapid recovery time.
It is one of the most popular procedures in the US (ASPAS reported 621,943 microdermabrasion procedures in 2009). It requires no anesthesia, and can be used on all skin types, and has minimal risks.
Medical Microcurrent with Peel
A Medical Microdermabrasion is a Power Peel Microdermabrasion with a light Alpha Hydroxy Treatment. The light Peel penetrates into the skin, clearing out clogs, sloughing out pores and removing blackheads as well as stimulating the skin. By polishing the outer skin layers with Microdermabrasion and smoothing with a light Peel, we can achieve a rejuvenated appearance. Using micro-particles, I use a device that forces polishing crystals over the face, combining gentle abrasion with suction to remove the dead, outer layer of skin. The force of the crystals against the skin, coupled with the buffing and suction all work in concert to remove damaged skin cells, promote new cell production and a cascade of other rejuvenative components such as new collagen and elastin fibers. As with other skin rejuvenation techniques, more than one treatment may be needed to achieve maximum results.
We are offering specials for these treatments for as little as $65. A significant savings when average prices range from $125 to $180.
Medical Microdermabrasion incorporates Microdermabrasion with wonderful effects of light alpha hydroxys.
This is a patient favorite and requires no down time and offers immediate glowing, skin moisturizing effects!
These treatments are used to treat scarring, discoloration, and sun damage, as well as:
- reduce wrinkles
- strengthen skin
- improve skin tone and color
- remove blotchiness
- restore skin health
Medical microdermabrasion treatments are often needed and should be spaced two to three weeks apart.
Yes even you can have a chemical peel! There are all levels and strenghts of Chemical Peels and there is one just right for you!
In my years in dermatology, I have performed literally thousands of peels and nothing for the price and the down time builds more collagen and volume to the skin.
Chemical peels are the acceleration of exfoliation using a chemical agent. Very light peeling agents induce a faster sloughing of the cells in the stratum corneum, whereas deeper peeling agents create cell death and inflammation extending deeper into the dermis. A chemical peel uses a chemical solution to improve and smooth the texture of the facial skin and color of the skin by removing its damaged outer layers.
It is my number one weapon in the treatment of all forms and grades of Acne.
It treats lines, wrinkles and uneven skin pigment of all skin colors. A chemical peel is most commonly performed to enhance appearance. Chemical peels may also remove pre-cancerous skin growths, soften acne scarring and control acne.
Peeling Agents used in my treatments:
Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA)
Trichloroacetic Acid (TCA)
Retinoids (Retinoic acid, retinol, retinyl palmitate, retinaldehyde)
The precise formula used may be adjusted to meet each patient’s needs. Peeling agents are classified as follows
• Glycolic acid 30% to 50% applied briefly for 1-2 minutes
• Jessner’s solution applied in 1 to 3 coats
• Low-concentration resorcinol 2-% to 30% applied briefly (5 to 10 minutes)
• TCA 10% applied in 1 coat
• Glycolic acid 50% to 70% applied for a variable time (2 to 20 minutes)
• Jessner’s solution applied in 4 to 10 coats
• Resorcinol 40% to 50% applied for 30 to 60 minutes
• TCA 10% to 30%- Titration Peels which are mixtures of two or more of these
• Glycolic acid 70% applied for a variable time (3 to 30 minutes)
• TCA 35% to 50%
• Augmented TCA (CO2 plus TCA 35%; Jessner’s solution plus TCA 35%; glycolic acid 70% plus TCA
Clinical Products Only
In my years of research and experience, I have concluded there are few products that truly affect the skin in such a way to rejuvenate, correct and return your skin to a healthy state. Most over the counter, non medical skin care products coat skin cells with large molecules designed to temporarily hydrate dead damaged skin cells and create a false sense of improvement. These products temporarily trap additional moisture in the skin but fail to create any changes.
Less is more!! Most patients only need a few choice Medical Grade products to instantly achieve results. These products stimulate new skin, incite a cascade of renewal, freshen appearance and correct tone and color.. These components are found in pigment suppressors and Retinols with a molecular structure that will enable the product to penetrate the skin. I recommend a few choice products that deliver specific, targeted results and skin protection at reasonable prices.
